Miami, FL, February 5, 2008
— Community Asphalt Corp. of Hialeah, FL, acquired by Spanish construction multinational OHL in 2006, announced today that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has accepted, after a year-long negotiation process, its January 2007 unsolicited bid to rebuild a dangerous section of US-1 in two years (2008 and 2009), completing it five years ahead of the Florida Department of Transportation schedule. No other company made a competing offer before the March 2007 deadline.
